    Aww, Benjie! I love stories like this, where the kitty waiting to be adopted communicates to the person, "I'm yours!" And the rest is history. There's a story just like that in my family.

    You are black, fluffy, flooffy and gorgeous! I would love to give you some gentle petting today -- maybe your people will do that for me. I agree with LittleOrangeKitten - you are a hunka kitty! Happy Cat of the Day, sweet Benjie!

    What a hunky handsome gentle giant of a MC you are, Benjie! I was so touched by your heartwarming back story, sweetheart, and oh yes, I loved your photo spread! I only wish there were more photos to drool over!

    I'm so sorry you had but a short time with your mommy, Benjie. But no doubt she cherished each and every day she had with you, and today is looking down on you from the Rainbow Bridge, so proud to see you being honored here today! And now your extended family is the lucky recipient of your unconditional love and devotion; how wonderful is that! Great thanks to your humans for their dedication to feral "rescue," and for visiting the shelter that fateful day so that YOU could have the pleasure of choosing them to be your forever family! (Love that paw action, Benjie...gets us every time!)

    Oh my Benjie, you really are a big beautiful boy. My Vega would just love you. She too is a gentle giant and is weighs just 1 lb less than you. She is also a kitty that will walk away from an altercation but has been known on the rare occasion to swat the 2 youngest when they get out of hand but she never ever uses her claws and always she gives them just 1 bop on the head and then moves off.

    You gentle giants really are the cat's meow. Big, beautiful and gentle as a lamb. Happy COTD gorgeous boy.
