Your cat Kingston reminds me so much of my parents cat Tigger (Angel Tigger now sadly). PLEASE don't let him (or any other of your furry family) drink from the toilet - make sure the lid is always down or the bathroom door is closed. My friend's cat was very sick recently and always drank from the toilet - it cost her almost $2,000 to nurse him back to health after he got e.coli poisoning (he almost died). If you google you will see how dangerous (toxic) it is for our animals to drink this water - they should only have clean water. Toilet water easily has residue from use by people, and from cleaners etc. This is a quote I got from one of the inquiries about the risks of allowing your pet to drink from the toilet:

"The ASPCA’s Animal Poison Control Center warns that toilet water can irritate a pet’s gastrointestinal tract and cause vomiting and nausea. This can result from drop-in cleaning tablets in the tank, residue from a toilet bowl cleaner, or simply from bacteria. If your pet drinks chemically treated water, give him a small amount of milk mixed with water to dilute it and lessen the chance of stomach upset."
