Canine Lifeguard On Duty

Staged or not, that sure brought a swell of emotion from me.

That Lab (or whatever it was) would have been so full of Treats, the Dachshund would have had to rescue him, the next time they took a dip.

Then, beyond just the act of rescue, the Lab pulled that little guy so far away from the water, it'd took him ten minutes to get wet again !

What a smart dog that rescued the pup! I saw that clip on the news this morning and thought the same as Taz. Why didnt the person filming help save the puppy? I wouldnt be at all surprised if the event was staged. Whatever it was, I'm glad puppy is ok. That big dog sure did drag pup out of pool and took it a good distance from danger--good dog!
