Lulu is in seventh heaven - another Exotic Shorthair to commune with!! We fell in love with Lulu's face at the shelter and it wasn't until almost a year later, that someone told us about Exotics. Love to see some kitten pictures - we found some on youtube back then that were just cute beyond description.
And, yes, their hair can mat up quickly. When we got Lulu she had a number of mats that the vet assistant was able to comb out - no shaving necessary. It's very deceiving - that short hair and mats!!! Lulu had an attitude then and was not interested in being brushed - but she's mellowed and it is one of our special times.

That smooshy face, those gorgeous amber eyes, that stunning coat of many colors! Speaking of coats...I laughed out loud viewing the apres grooming "evidence!" Wow! And here I thought my Husky Cody was a non-stop shedding machine!
