How long did the bears stay in your garage?
I love to see them walking through the yards, they are so beautiful!!
The neighbors dog likes to chase the poor things out of the neighborhood.[

Heres one he chased up the tree in my yard

He stayed up there over an hour.
the dog would hide and when the bear tried to come down the dog would go back over to the bottom of the tree barking and the bear would climb back up again.
he finally had enough and came all the way down and tried to make a run for it[

The dog followed,
we think the dog is part coyote.

How long did the bears stay in your garage?

They only stayed for a minute or 2- they first pulled the recycling out into the driveway and when they realized it wasn't yummy garbage, they went back in and pulled the garbage out (so much for bear proof cans...) When they had their garbage bag of choice, mama carried it away...
