Well done, Kassidy, you did a great job. Since moving in, I see you have wrapped the human around your little paws, getting your way with head bumpies and an ice cube!

Hi Kassidy! Happy Cat of the Day to you! What a beautiful, most fetching feline you are, Kassidy, and just as your Mom says, totally irresistible! Who could deny you anything! Your Mom recuonts how you lovingly stuck your paw out of the shelter cage that fateful day, begging her to take you home. But I have no doubt it was a case of love at first sight, no begging required! How very blessed your Mom was that special day so many years ago, the day you chose her to be your forever person! You truly are a furry angel, Kassidy, heaven sent, and your Mom so very lucky to have you in her life!

Great thanks to your Mom for sharing your beautiful self, your very touching rescue story, and heart squishing photos with us all! It was a pleasure meeting you, sweetheart, having the chance to pay tribute to the very special girl that you are, and all that you mean to your Mom!

Kassidy made me think of my Riley who also is on a diet. Riley came from a pound where he was about to be euthanized - not sure where he was before that but it was obvious he was not fed properly. Riley is now on a canned food diet (except some dry as a treat - but very little). Cats are carnivores and there is NO meat in dry food, no matter how "good quality" it is. According to some good vets (those not only focusing on the money they can make) it actually damages the enamel of the teeth (cats have pointed teeth and cannot grind the dry food anyway) - this causes food to stick to the teeth and then bacteria occurs which taxes the organs. Dry food also causes diabetes and obesity due to the overload of carbs. Also, cats do not drink enough so they desperately need the liquid in the canned food, which should be their main source of food; canned food is NOT a treat. It may cost more but if you love your cat you want them healthy (less vet bills also) for as long as possible. Face it, we wouldn't want to eat dry cereal all day.

We Found Hotel Cats have done that same thing with Our Dad, after all he could not do without us.
