Oatmeal shampoos are the best for sensitive skin - I second that! lol

You want a limited ingredient shampoo. When Willy had his extensive yeast skin infection, I used this: http://www.petedge.com/product/Espre...2-oz/45321.uts

Notice you dilute it 10 to 1. So that bottle will last you!

Look at the ingredients: Oatmeal, Baking Soda, Aloe, Jojoba, and Vitamins A, D, and E

I would never use a Hartz product on any of my pets. They are not a good company. In any event, the "Infusions" like has been discontinued (saw several poor reviews online) and now it is all Hartz Groomer's Best. Even on the Hartz website, you can't find an ingredients list!

I don't like Hartz either, but I did like the shampoo. The bottle I have lists the ingredients but I'll be darned if I'll type all that out! Just a few: oat extract, silk protein, aloe vera oil, mineral oil, mica, gelatin - those are among the recognizable ingredients.

What I found strange is that I Google'd it to see what I could find, and there are 2 different ones that are "infusions" and oatmeal, and a LOT of price differences. They show one that is a light tan color like oatmeal, and the other that is clear with the aloe beads very visible. The clear is the one I have. And the prices listed on some of the 18oz bottles ranged from just a few dollars (what I pay), upwards to over $40! I wonder what the heck that is all about??? Something's not right. It appears that it's still available tho.

Earthbath and Tropiclean are two lines my store sells that I like a LOT. They're both soap free, with a mild coconut cleanser that foams nicely. The both have an oatmeal formula, and they both also have a super hypoallergenic formula. I like to switch shampoos up on Jasper, so we've tried almost all of them, and the only one I didn't like was Earthbath's Green Tea formula, which is a little perfumey.

I use Nature's Specialties, but its expensive and hard to find. Only one store near me sells the brand. I used to work in the boarding kennel that the little store is hooked on to and people would always ask the groomers what they use because their dogs are so soft when they are done. http://www.naturesspecialtiesmfg.com/

Please note that an unusually soft coat and itchy sensitive skin can be an indication of a hormone problem or Cushing's disease or alopecia with any sort of cause. If the dog is overweight or drinks and urinates a lot it could be cause for concern.

Thanks for all the responses. She's had health issues since she was a pup but the vet didn't find anything.
