    I am so sad you lost your babies - what a cruel person to do that. But I am glad you survived and chose your perfect family, where you are totally loved and thriving!

    A beautiful cat who brings back beautiful memories...

    Zazou looks like my beloved "daughter" Samantha if Samantha had had white on her instead of being all black. Like Zazou, she entered the lives of her new humans with much reason for fear, but she gradually learned that there were people who she could trust and who would stop at nothing to pamper her as befits a true queen. The 15 years we had together flew by all too quickly. With all that she taught me about unconditional love, loyalty, and forgiveness, I now see every cat as having a little bit of Samantha in him or her... but longhaired kitties with plenty of black on them always tug at my heart strings most firmly.

    You certainly deserve top honors after all you went through. I'm so sorry about your babies. You will be together again some day. For now you have a loving family and sibbies to help you enjoy life. I hope you are being properly spoiled today!!! (somehow I think you are)

    I knew it was you the second I clicked on the Cat of the Day page...read your name, where you reside! Oh, how excited and proud your Mommy must be, seeing your name *up in lights* today! And how very deserving you are, Zazou! You had such a horrible start at life, and it's heartbreaking, imagining your and your babies' fears when locked in that ice chest! I'm so sorry your little ones didn't survive. But blessedly you had the strength to hold on until your rescue, and the rest as they say, is happy history!
    Lots of love to you, beautiful Zazou! Hope you and your family, your Mom and Dad and furry siblings, are enjoying a VERY special Cat of the Day celebration! Please have your Mommy give you a big hug and kiss for me!
