Thanks everyone.I'm still waiting for his blood test results. My vet e-mailed me back this morning and she thinks that he has allergies so she wants to prescibe some antihistamines and nose drops for Sky. I've tried giving him nose drops in the past and this didn't work out too well. I'll continue to keep you updated when I know more.
Aw, Sky I'm sorry you don't feel very well. Take your meds now. We all love you here on Pet Talk and want you healthy. Prayers on the way for you and your meowmie.![]()

Thanks again everyone.I have great news. Both Sky's blood work and thyroid test came back normal.
The vet said that she isn't too concerned with his weight loss because he doesn't feel very boney to her. If he does continue to lose weight then more tests will need to be done. I sure hope that this won't happen. I'm going to try to gradually feed him more. If he eats too fast or too much food at once he tends to throw it back up. I may try mixing his canned and dry food together to see if this will help at all.
I stopped giving him the Clavamox because it made him not eat as well as he should. The vet said that somethimes it makes cats feel sick, vomit, or even stop eating. I picked up his antihistamine pills and drops tonight and he gets these two times a day for 7 days. He took the pill without any problems but trying to put drops in his eyes and nostrils was a bit tricky. He ate very well tonight but he still sounds congested and he's still having sneezing attacks. I hope that the new meds will kick in soon and help to clear him up. I can also take the Clavamox back but the vet told me to keep it a bit longer just in case I have to end up using it on him. Please send some positive vibes Sky's way. Thanks.![]()
Sky's doing so much better today. So far he hasn't sneezed at all this morning and I can tell he's feeling so much better. His appetite is great and I think he knows that the drops and pills are helping him because this morning he just sat there like a very good boy and he let me put drops in his eyes and nose. He also loves taking his pill in part of a chicken pill pocket.
He goes back for a recheck on Sun. Feb.5th at 2pm. I hope that he'll continue to improve and do well and that he'll also be able to gain some weight. Thanks again everyone.
