Thanks everyone! These are all in oil, but I did used to do acrylics (the painting of Morgan was acrylic) I didn't start using oils until this last spring when I took a painting class. They are all I use now. They took some getting used to (especially that brindle on the boxer - that was tricky would have been way easier in acrylic) but I love them. I've done watercolor before too but not for a few years.
