Socks, in that first photo, your eyes look exactly like my Mordred's! But Mordred's not a barn cat; at the moment, he's curled up, sound asleep, in a cuddler bed with a heating pad underneath. All mice are safe from him!

Funny story. The first day I started working, I saw Socks and he was so sweet with his meowing and rubbing up against anyone. Seemed like he couldn't hurt a fly! Later the night, just as I was about to leave, I saw Socks carrying a dead mouse through the parking lot. I was like "Oh my god, Socks!" I was so shocked, I wasn't expecting that at all! I guess it just had to take some getting use to.
