As I said on Facebook much earlier today, I am so sorry for your loss. Miss Sophia, had to do things her way, right up to the end. How safe she must have felt, cuddled up with you, ready to make her journey to the bridge, knowing all the time that she was so loved.

Glacier, I am so very sorry for your loss. Sophia sounds like she was a very special kitty. Do know that when one has been truly loved by a cat, one has been blessed, indeed. Love never dies and Sophia still loves you and is waiting until One Fine Day when you will meet again and she will assume her rightful place, next to your cheek.

I am sorry to hear that another one of your dear friends has moved on to RB. It is a heart breaker for sure.
It sounds as though Sophia was ready for her trip and it was just a matter of her letting go.
