In any other field it would be called extortion.

I've been to a circus only once and what I saw did not appeal to me - somehow large animals caged or trained to do tricks just does not sit right with me. Is the almighty dollar so important that these lovely creatures are taken from their natural habitat to exist in a cage and perform as needed?
