What a beautiful boy you are, Cheeney, and so very deserving of being crowned our EXTRA special honoree! All pups are special, but our rescues seem to be extra grateful for having given a second chance at happiness, and we give great thanks to your forever human for choosing adoption, giving one very special boy a paw up in life! It's clear that you were destined to be with your human, and what a heavenly match it is! I think even the kitties would agree, and that heart melting pic of you and your kitty sib is living proof! (My pup learned early on, like you, that the kitties rule the roost!)

What a sad start at life you had, Cheeney; it breaks my heart to think that so called "family" could be so neglectful (that's putting it mildly) of an "inconvenient" family member, unwilling to commit. But happily you were surrendered to a wonderful shelter, one which provided you with great vet care, and all the love and attention, the time needed for you to heal, until your forever human came along!

Thanks for ending my day with a BIG smile, sweetheart! You truly are a gem of a pup, the bestest furkid, and your family (human and furry), so very blessed to have you in their lives!
