I am no good at critique, but I attended DVC and loved it! I too came from a VERY small high school, and I felt totally "at home" as soon as I stepped onto the campus for my first visit.

I hope you get in, I really do.

Animal Husbandry.

I was there BEFORE the horses. I worked with the beef cattle, sheep, pigs and the lab animals.

Your essay sounds real good. The "quality of life" addition is sound advice, it counts big time with teachers and vets alike. I also like the changes that were made if you feel you want to insert them.
