I don't hate Windows, but I can't stand Windows anymore after converting to Macs! Will never go back to it, I am forever a Mac user.
You're the one sure thing I've found so you better stick around...

I agree! However, I'm not a huge fan of Windows at all anymore.

I've gotten the Blue screen of death on windows before, so yes, that's how I see all of them .

    Until you get to work.

I love Macs, I do. I have two on my office desk. But they do not get used for actual business purposes very often.

Wait until you all see Windows 8. It is VERY, VERY early beta that I have access to due to being a Microsoft partner.

All I can say is its gonna change some things. Imagine your profile going from you phone, to your Xbox, to your PC and then back to your phone. Same data, same look, same apps... It is going to revolutionize the workplace because your workplace can literally be anywhere you want it to be.

iCloud is going to look like a tinker toy by comparison. (I use iCloud and I like it, BTW.)

To hell with that. I live out in the boonies for a reason. I do NOT want that kind of "accessibility" and find it incredibly narcissistic for people to think they're that bloody important that they need to bring work home with them on their phone.

It just ain't that damned important.

Work is work, home is home, and the two don't mix.

I want my phone to be a phone, I want my computter to be a computter.

    Yes it is.

For those of us who dont have a union to secure us.... We work 70 hours a week, for reason.

Better yet, my wife and my family understand how and why I work. I NEED to be connected, 24x7. 14 people and their families depend on me. Its the cross I bear to be FREE dude. No union. No master. ME.

The 2 DO mix. They do. You just have to learn how to make it work. We have.

Fire away.... But your attitude shows why unions are bad for the economy.

Sorry, no one needs to be connected and available 24/7/365.

I didn't take my work home prior to being employed by the Post Office, and I refuse to take work home now.

I find being connected to a wire 24/7 a truly bizarre definition of freedom.

Oh the cross I bear...I simply MUST be connected 24X7X52 or the whole world will fall in upon itself and disintergrate into a ball of fire.

Are you really that important??? Fourteen people and their families and their families onto the tenth generation will starve...be lost without your devine intervention!

ROTFLMAO at your sense of self-importance.

I own my own business. I have clients who pay me very well. I am "free".

In fact, I am so free...I do not need to be available 24X7X52...

As if that is a measure of freedom or importance....

Let me know if you need advice on how to take care of clients better - so they don't need you 24X7X52!

You may not need to bring work home but those who own their own business may. If you are a self-proprietor who really cares about their business, this type of thing will come in handy. If you have a 9 - 5 job, no, you wouldn't need it.

Do they each have their own keyboard and mouse or do you use a switch?

The Developer Pre Release, or something closer to Alpha? I thought the beta wasnt due till CES 2012. The pre release is still pretty clunky but I see the potential for Winslow users and businesses, everything with one OS. If they pull it off it will be a huge WIN.

ETA: Just reread the Developers Release, its a late Alpha build.
