A few years back when I was looking for a new camera, someone on here pointed me to this site:

You can pull up and compare, side by side, the ones you are interested in. Use the COMPARE button at the top, you can put up to 20 at one time.

And of course, you can read reviews etc.

Like you, I had already narrowed it down to 3 or 4 (can't remember, now.)
