As others have said, there are no words for people who would abuse a tiny kitten, any innocent creature, and it breaks my heart to think you had to endure such unspeakable neglect and abuse, emotional and physical! Thankfully those horrible days are but a far, far distant memory, now that you've found your way to your forever family...human and fury! Hmmm...Endless hours spent watching movies and cartoons and monitoring that computer screen with countless toys at your disposal; being sung to by your mom, and having a furry big brother to pal around with? Well, life couldn't be better, hehe, and no kitty is more deseerving than you, sweetheart! And oh, you make one amazing kitty model! It's no wonder you love to ham for the camera, for the camera sure does love you! (Your pictures are precious, all of them, but those of you tangled up with your brother, priceless!)
Thanks for ending my day with a huge smile, Howie! Hope you and adorable brother are enjoying your much deserved day of honor, being loved and spoiled to the max! Please have your mom give you and your brother both, a bunch of hugs (if you're in the mood) for me! Congratulations, precious Howie!

Hello dear Howie! What a rough start in life you had and now you have a wonderful home and family to love you. I enjoyed all the cute pictures and can see that you are such a happy cat. I hope all of you will be together for many years. Congrats on being COTD!

Aww, Howie! What a precious photo of you and brother Raja! I read in his Cat of the Day thread that he is teaching you all the important skills kitties need to have to ... um ... surprise their humans I am sure you are a very quick learner! You are beautiful and I hope you BOTH will have a very long, happy, joyful, fun-filled life with your caring family. Happy Cat of the Day, sweetie Howie!

Bless you for having the love and the patience to show Howie that his life with humans could actually be a good one. Yesterday our rescue, although more than full, took in two more kittens - these little ones had been thrown out of a car window in rush hour, in front of a hospital no less, in downtown Montreal! Thank goodness the person behind the car the woman was driving loved animals and quickly rescued them. Abuse of animals is heinous and unacceptable but exists in this world of ours more and more. Please encourage the shelters and rescues in your areas to sterilize all animals before they are adopted as well as discouraging any friends or families from allowing their animals to have litters (even if they use the stupid excuse that they want to show their kids the miracle of life - the sad truth is that statistics show that more than half those kittens will be euthanized in their young life, even if the person finds homes for the kittens - chances that they still get dumped at a shelter or rescue or great).
