Hi Dakota! Happy Pet of the Day to you! You are one magnificent creature, Dakota, a beauty in body and spirit! (Just love your Leopard spots!)
I have to tell you Dakota, I just about fell off my chair, reading of the unconscionable neglect you suffered before finding your way to your forever person! I can't even begin to imagine how malnourished you were, needing to add on 400 pounds to return to good health! Well, thankfully those dreadful days of abuse are but a distant memory; that for all the days of your life, from here on in, you willl know nothing but carefree, peaceful days, love and kindness (and lots of yummy, healthy food)! Great thanks to your dear mommmy for her devotion to rescue, most of all thanks to her for rescuing you, giving one most deserving boy a 2nd chance at happiness! How blessed she is, to have a "1st" as special as YOU!!!

So glad you have put on some weight and hope you will enjoy a splendid POTD celebration with you devoted guardian, getting carrots and sugar cubes to share with Starbuck. My horse Tim was POTD many years ago and lived to be in his thirties, so surely you will have many more years to enjoy, Dakota!
