Betty really has a cold- she has problems breathing and sounds like an old door in a spooky movie. The vet has been there 2 times and left some antibiotic stuff that will not harm the kittens and which she takes as if she knew how important it is to stay healthy.
The vet was very happy with the kittens - they are healthy little fuzzbombs
So the first picture I have today has been at 10 days, the second at 12 days. I feel I can see them growing.

And we have some very good news: a co-worker of mine just came and said: "I hear you have access to kittens!!!" She plans to get a kitten for her little girl and today the whole family visited. The little girl (about 5) was very nice and sweet with the kittens. They will have her allergy tested- very responsible and now the only worry we have is "How can we get them to take two"
The kittens seemed to like the idea too- they are some stout little guys and girls who feel absoultely safe in this world

such roly poly little fuzzballs they are too cute and I can't imagine anyone having resistance to these little kittens.

You have all done a wonderful job feeding, loving and socializing these little ones - they will be amazing additions to any family and especially children

Well done staff - says Betty

I hope Betty gets to feeling better soon; she sure lucked out when she found you

They are so sweet. The second picture, far left...adorable face. Hope the mama cat is feeling better soon. I seem to remember my cat Mama getting a cold when she went back to the vet to get spayed after she had the kittens. I am thinking her kittens never got sick but my two older cats did get a cold. The kittens probably have good immunity from their mama.

And, isn't it just amazing to see the mama with her babies and how good they are with their kittens. It is really an experience to go through.

    What adorable little growing babies!

And what good news about the future home and family for one (two!) of them.

Thank you, Betty and Barbara, for doing such a good job!!!!!

    So cute

Have you tried to tell them the theory: two kittens keep each other company/busy, and out of trouble....? Or do you think that would be an out and out lie? Hehehehehehe!

I really do believe kittens love to have kitten company.

The photos make me want to adopt one myself. NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO.

I am so happy you have had the vet look at Mom and the kittens. Not many folks do that early on, and end up with problems down the road. Smart idea!

How soon will you allow the kittens to go to their new homes? Once they are weaned? I have forgotten the recommended adoptions week. My breeder of my Abys would not let them go until their 12th week. I think that is a bit much, but Abys are a tad slow in development.

It will be hard to see them go, I bet. It would be for me. Just as long as you can keep in touch with the owners, it will be fun for you and the new fur families.

Such a nice thing you and your neighbor have done. So nice.
