WOW! What a scare for poor widdle Pinot. I'm glad that you were able to find the owners of the dog so quickly and hopefully the dog won't try to visit Pinot again. I still can't get over that she wasn't afraid of a fox though.

I know, she can be such a fraidy-cat INSIDE, but OUTSIDE?? She's FIERCE!

Oh Pinot my dear, Labradors are friendly dogs. I can understand why you were scared though. Your mom and dad will protect you from the beast.

The pup was a sweetie; just wanted to come inside. We have a "baby gate" we put across the deck opening when we're out in the evening with Pinot. I put that across so Summit knew he was supposed to stay there until we made all the phone connections we needed to. Our best guess is this was a shepherd/retriever mix. Could have been Lab or Golden. Medium length coat, but really a nice dog. Just too big for Pinot's deck...

Oh Pinot, what a frightful experience! But I'm glad your purrents found the owner of the dog, so you could feel safe again at your feeding station. I bet you're going to check one extra time before you go outside.
