You can see they have just cleared the street and piled it all up.
Still have photos to post.

Back at home, this is part of the dogs' daily walk route (when we don't go to the farm). On the left is a path we follow -- that is where I had to carry Marlin this morning, and the downed trees are still there.
This part, they cleared.
It is mind boggling. This is one small area. Not a 1 mile radius, just 1.5 miles down and back. And this is repeated all up and down the eastern coast! The RI Governor did a helicopter view this morning (saw them pass as I was out in the back cutting my limb). He went with members from FEMA and RI EMA (Federal and state Emergency Management). He said you can't see much from the air, with the tree canopy, so they had to go out in vehicles. In March 2010, when we had the floods, they could see it clearly from the helicopter view. Not so this mess. So I guess the numbers of folks without electricity help to tell this story.

Wow, what a mess! I hope no one was hurt.
Forever in my heart...

This tree:is so rotten, it's a wonder it hadn't come down before.
Other trees are healthy ones, you can tell how strong the winds were.
I've Been Frosted
The hollow tree is huge when you look at the people standing by it. The trees all got a good pruning during the storm. I hope no one was hurt human or animal.
I know, right? And yet, the top branches were all full of leaves.
As of 5 PM, still over 100,000 electric customers w/out power here in RI. In Coventry, RI, still 60% are out! And across the line, Seekonk and Attleboro Mass still have many many outages.
Willy had no Agility class tonight; still no power there.
