Oh, how my heart aches for you, Gini. There truly are no words at this time, this we all know too well. Time is the healer, and I wish you six months to pass in a blink of the eye, so that fond memories can bring some comfort. You are held dear by so many, and we share your grief so that it may lighten a bit. Rascal was an orangie, loved by many, none so deeply as you. He knew that, I am sure. Treat yourself gently.

My niece sent this to me and it describes exactly how I feel.
Rascal was a cat who was very much with you - talking to you - sitting by your side - curling up with you at night.

Even though I have Annie and Emma - there is a huge void in the house - because yes, his soul did take up a huge amount of room at my home.

I deeply appreciate all of your thoughts and prayers and love. So many have been through this - so I know that you understand the
pain and loss I am feeling.

Gini, I am so sorry that Rascal has passed on. I know that he will be
greeted by all of our fur angels who have gone before him. I'm also sure
he will be meeting up with John, Phred & Corrina who will keep Rascal
