I don't know how you have stayed sane during this process. As for my earlier post, I didn't really think you would post something in the paper. That would screw up the works. A new lawyer sounded good, but I read online that contested divorces could take years.
I think that needs to change.

Today, 10 am, we go to court!!!! My lawyer has asked me to be present, so I will be there.
Yesterday we proved to his side that he is a liar and in fact lied in his sworn affidavit. Don't know if that will affect things or how, but I proved it!
I so hope the court will give me my divorce today. No settlement yet, but this is a great first step, after almost 2 years.

Thank you all for your thoughts and prayers. I was successful in court today. The divorce paperwork will proceed immediately. A date will be set for binding mediation and I am sole decision maker now regarding the sale of our lake house.
