Heavy rain last night, still pouring this morning and it was only 9 degrees. But it's gone up to 29 and still lots of humidity so it isn't too comfy. The sun keeps trying to pop out but the black clouds are winning. I think the sun will show only this evening.

We don't have much choice. Mother Nature dishes it out, and we just have to take it - like it or not!

We are having the hottest summer in my memory. The weatherman is saying on average it is our hottest summer but we haven't hit double digit yet. I think we have had at least a solid month of high 90's. I'm ready for fall. You snow birds can keep your snow though. If God had intended for me to have snow, I would have been born in Minnesota.

Wom a Hot Tin Roof would prob feel cooler right now.. Lets me tell you the HEAT is on.. But like pomtzu states we dont have any choice && so we are just going with the flow right now.. Mother Nature will cut us some slack sooner or later.. At this point I think it is going to be later..

I can count all the snowfalls, over an inch, on my fingers and toes. That only applies to my time in Alabama. I have lived in snow producing places like New York, Ohio, Rhode island, Oklahoma, and Virginia so those don't count toward my finger and toes. Vacations don't count either.

There are rumors going around that Wednesday our highs will only be in the 80s!!! I can hardly wait!!! Gee!!! I'll need to wear my flannels!!!
