    They are lovely. I had some as well but keep getting suckers all over the place and finally had to dig them out. They have very very deep roots.
    I hd forgotten however how lovely they were till I saw your pictures.

    Rose Of Sharons August 5th

    Rose of Sharons and other plants in the flowerbeds around the house including the Snapdragons along the South side and the Cornflower at the corner which is official flower for ALS.

    Rose of Sharons August 7th

    The Rose of Sharons yesterday,more fuller in bloom,the wet weather doesn't help, the flowers get wet and shrivel and fall off.Heidi somehow snuck into the last picture ,don't know until I saw it on the computer.
