    Hopefully, this is Vitreous detachment which is very common in people over 40

    My friend just had this happen and it presented as a floater and cloudy spot (like there was a smudge on her contact lens).

    You will be in my thoughts and prayers that it's nothing more serious.

    Karen, I hope it's something that the surgeon can fix tomorrow and you'll be able to see well again. I'm sending lots of positive thoughts.

    I had a floater a couple of years ago, but now I hardly notice it anymore.

    Lots of loving thoughts and prayers for you Karen. I have severe diabetic retinopathy so I am scared of losing all sight too I do hope it can be fixed easily easily and quickly for you!
