With Alani & Blaze I hold a toy up so they focus on that. For the others it's usually not a problem. They're either relaxing or sleeping.

Here is Pearl with normal eyes!!!To take away red eyes, I open a pic with Windows Gallery, then click on "edit", en then I draw a square around the red eyes and then they are normal!!
Thanks Lut. I have something similar on my old computer, windows XP, but the program isn't compatible with my new computer which is windows 7.

    Thanks again everyone.

You have such gorgeous cats. I'm jealous! And Ziggy (AKA Malibu's long lost sibling ) is so pretty.

And I took the liberty of getting rid of the red eye in Ziggy's pic, hope you don't mind... if you ever need anybody to retouch a photo, I absolutely love to do it, just ask I use GIMP which is free.

How in the world did I miss this? Thank goodness I am seeing it now.

Such beautiful pictures. Those two orange boys are too cute. I wouldn't be able to tell them apart unless they were right next to each other.

Thank you for the siggy, Michelle!

Thanks. I have Gimp2 but I still really don't know how to use it. I don't see anything about a tool to get rid of red eye.

Tracey, I have recently upgraded to Windows 7 and have just discovered how to erase red-eye with Windows live gallery.

    -----------------------------------
Right click and open your photo in Windows Live Photo Gallery

Click 'edit, organise, or share' at the top left. (at this point you may have to log-in or join if you haven't already)

click (or double click) the picture you want to edit.
    ............................................

Only does basic stuff but could be useful, especially for red-eye.

Gorgeous kitties all of them, but I especially have a soft spot for Storm - and the ones of Blaze standing upright and the close-up are SO cute.

    Kisses to them all.

There is a red eye tool but I've found they don't really work for cats, so I just zoom in very close and use the fuzzy circle tool and paint the pupil black while keeping the white "glint" in the eye intact. Takes a while to get a hang of but most people don't even notice that I've done it, even in closeups.

Wow! Thanks so much Chris. I didn't even know that I had this program on my computer. I just tried it out and the red eye fix works great and it's so easy too.

Thanks again everyone. I was going to take some more pictures today but my batteries have already died since the last photo shoot which was on Tues. I need to buy some new batteries soon.
