Oh, Eddie! I am so glad your secretary saw you weren't happy and took you to the white coats! Get better soon, okay?

Oh Sara, I just sent you an email and when I logged on to PT your thread jumped out at me.

Eddie, Merlin and I hope you are feeling much better in a few days. Please let your Meowmie do what she needs to do and don't let Mz E bother you. She just hates that you smell of the V-E-T.

You are right in that PT has taught me a great deal. Even friends who describe ailments of their furbabies cause me to recite what I read on PT.

Get well Eddie. You are loved from far away.

So glad Eddie's problem was recognized early and help is on the way.

PT has taught me EVERYTHING I know! Well, I did learn some growing up around animals too, but some of those things were wrong.
People I work with somehow hear I am the "animal person" and come to me with questions. I do my best to help them. And if I don't know, I come here and ask.
Our goal in life should be - to be as good a person as our dog thinks we are.

Thank you for the siggy, Michelle!

Gosh, I had no idea about Eddie's ears. Glad to hear he is on the mend. I hadnt heard of yeast in cats ears. Seems like the large, open ear-way would not be a good growing ground.

My RB Bubba had a yeast infection in his ears. It was pretty easy to clear up.

  7. His ears look all pink and healthy now and he is back to his usual self. But he hates, hates, hates the ear drops. And still another week of them twice a day! Edwina has finally stopped her hissing and growling at him. Vet smell must have worn off.

Cat - when you really look into a cat's ears - well Eddie's anyway - there are lots of deep dark recesses in there!

The vet said the yeast/bacteria was probably the results of allergies - either food or airborne. He has always bothered with his ears. So we need to keep a close eye and get them cleaned out when they fill up.

Oh Joy...taking him to the vet! However, he does not have the six Caution stickers on his file as Lady Edwina does! He just gets all sad and pitiful. You cannot imagine how much he sheds from fear at the vets!

Eddie I am glad to hear your ears are better! Just 7 more days of drops, sweetie!

I had to laugh - 6 Caution stickers for Lady Edwina! My goodness!

Eddie, we're so glad to hear how much better you and your earsies are doing!!! Just a few more days now of nasty drops in them..

I'm glad to hear that he's feeling better. Yes, my cats also tend to shed a lot at the vets.

Sweet Eddie, I am so glad that you are starting to feel better. I was very worried about you while I was away. Had to log on to find out how you were the minute I got home!
