AL 5672, your furkid sounds like a normal cat to me. They have a habit of placing themselves in places where they know you want to be in. I have a difficult time reading any material in the mornings when I get up with my first cup of coffee. My cats will always come and sit on my book or interfere with what ever I am doing. This is the nature of a pet cat. They are attention getters, whether they inadvertantly get into things or whether they purposely put themselves in your "path of interest". It is something that is an expected factor when we keep cats for pets.
