What an awful beginning to life you had, Michi! It breaks my heart to think of you languishing in that shelter, alone and frightened, never having known the love of a human, a home, a family...that is until your guardian angels/your forever family found their way to you! And talk about being wanted! Wow, your Mom and Dad surely did just that, want YOU; driving all that way, 22 hours, to bring you home! I'm sure it wasn't easy at first, your transition. But as your Mom has said, you've come so far, and it's clear you know you're just where you were meant to be all along! What a perfect match you and your family are, Michi, and I hope for you all many, many, many more wonderful, happy, love filled years together!
