I'm glad the dad is the one who decided to let the little girl have the kitten since he'll be the one taking care of it. Baby Yukon kitty will have less chance of being dumped because of responsibility issues.
That is a sweet story. I can only imagine how terrified that baby kitty must have been. Glad she's alright!
