Hi Nicky's Person - I am always so happy to read stories coming from Montreal because since I am not far from there (I work in Montreal) and have been in rescue for 10 years, I know just how out of control our cat population here is. To hear that a pussycat found his way to safety and love is heartwarming. I have two cats (rescued) and they also watch my knit and crochet - just be careful with that wool. I keep mine in a zippered bag when in use and the rest is stored away where they can't get to it. It just takes a few licks and then it starts going down their throats and can be fatal. If you ever want to volunteer with the small rescue I am with now just let me know. We also have a booksale fundraiser going on with LOTS of books at great prices (I love reading with my kitties closeby too). Love to gorgeous Nicky!
Please have your pets sterilized as soon as possible to lower, and one day hopefully eliminate, unwanted and abandoned pets. It IS our responsibility. Adopting from a shelter also helps - encouraging breeders just adds to the overpopulation.
