Yeah, but it was a Mountain Brown Funnel Web and they are a lot bigger than the Sydney Black (which is one of the most deadliest critters in the world.)
She started wearing gloves until she found out that the buggers can sink their fangs through a glove and through a fingernail under at the same time, and that if she did get bit, she's got about 20 minutes to get to a hospital.....hee hee.
