My good girl, Bailey

Thank you for the kind words. I was just remembering today how we almost passed her by at the animal shelter because she didnt stand out or try to make herself seen like the other dogs. She just laid in her kennel looking at us wagging her tail. I'm so glad we made the decision to take her home.

She was a sweet girl. I have to pick up her ashes soon. That's not gonna be easy.

I remember sweet, soft-eyed Bailey and I am so, so deeply saddened to see that she has passed on. There must be such a big hole in your heart right now. My thoughts are with you as you deal with the loss of your beautiful girl. I'm glad I got to "know" her through Pet Talk.

I almost never come on Pet Talk any more, but every now and then I will check the Memorial section. I was very saddened to see Bailey had passed away. I am sure that was very hard for you. She was such a lovely dog. *big hugs* It's funny I actually have thought of Bailey a lot in the last 6 months or so since I "met" (online) another dog that reminds me of her a bit, and she is in the Austin area as well. Any way, I really am sorry, and hope that you are feeling a bit easier about it now.

Hi Bailey. It's Mommy. I was missing you today and can't believe it's been almost 3 months since you've been gone. I looked at your ashes and the card your doctor gave us with your paw prints on it after you died. They always make me cry. Then I remembered how you always wanted to cuddle with me when I cried and that made me cry more. Silly, isn't it?

Peej is doing fine, but sometimes I think he still looks for you. He would never show it, but I know he loved you.

I hope you're being a good girl. I love you.
