Great news for Honeybun!!! Yes, the sub-q's can be quite intimidating at first but as Mary says, you'd be surprised what you can do when you are faced with it. Taking my Speckles and Max up to vet was not practical for me as I work full time and it stressed them out. So with the help of an emergency vet (I was crying there...) they showed me over and over again how to do it. My first try with Speckles was just as disasterous as Mary's was - I was bleeding all over....and poor Specks was laying there as if to say "come on Mom, get it together..."
It is wonderful news that Honeybun is home with you. I pray for many more weeks and months of loving for the two of you.
