WomI'm sorry Wom but the Utah Praire dog is not a dog, it is an overgrown rat. This is true even if it is a Texas, New Mexico, Arizona, or any other praire dog thatUtah prairie dog (a dog)
burrows in the red dirt states. No Alabama doesn't have Praire dogs. Eastern States have a kissing cousin to the Praire dog called the Ground Hog , AKA Woodchuck.
