Good idea! Seperate Easter from the hallmark holiday for kids and candy! I couldn't have thought of anything better. I actually celebrate Easter on March 21 like a good Pagan and do so with solomn respect to the coming season of rebirth. I ALSO celebrate the hallmark/Christian "easter" with bunnies and candy and a family get together. There's nothing Christian about another day for giving children free candy and toys. There's also nothing Christian about buying bunnies on a whim to give to kids who don't know how to take care of them. Or maybe there is...
The elementary school I work at still puts up christmas trees in each room. I call them a fire hazard.
