What really gets me is...people whine around about "not wanting the government in their healthcare business."
I guess they would rather have these kinds of greedy jamocks deciding whose claims get paid and whose doesn't - always with an eye to the bottom line - also known as their personal pockets.
I have seen many executive incentive plans - any company that does not include a clause that the plan is not a contract and subject to revocation at any time, etc. etc. is failing their stockholders. It just doesn't happen.
These guys decided to pay themselves very big bonuses for the fantastic safety year they had.
That is the way the system works.
