Hi Miss Daisy! Happy Cat of the Day to you, Princess! What a gorgeous girl you are, Daisy! Your plush white coat and sparkling amber eyes are simply STUNNING! Just as your Mommy says, you're a beauty not just in body, but in heart! I'm so, so very sorry to hear of the very tragic, sudden passing of your beloved predecessors, the boys Puppy and Uh Oh. I can only image how painful it is to lose two furkids in such a short time, inexplicably. But thankfully, just when she needed you most, into your Mommy's life came, and what a heaven sent angel you were! I can't tell you Daisy, how heartwarming it is to know that after having suffered such a tragic loss, she now has you, her sweet and loving best kitty to cuddle with and love; her little angel! I can't help but think that you were a blessing sent to her in thanks for her dedication to rescue; you saved her as much as she saved you, and what a heavenly match it is! Bless you sweet, beautiful Daisy, and congratulations on being crowned our very special and most deserving honoree! I hope you enjoyed a very happy Cat of the Day, and send wishes that you and your wonderful Mommy will know many more happy, love filled years together! Love and cuddles and kisses and belly rubs to you beautiful Miss Daisy, our very special and most deserving honoree!

    Volunteering at animal shelters

Hi there - Just wanted to mention that I also have been a volunteer at animal shelters (I'm now helping a rescue - all of our cats are in foster homes). You maybe already know, but in case you don't - some diseases/illnesses are transferable to your cats at home through your clothes and your hair so the fact that you lost your two sweet cats may have to do with something you brought home from the shelter. Sad but true - if your shelter is run like so many of them, the people abandoning their animals are not always truthful of the reason WHY they are dumping them (often their cat or dog is ill and they just don't want to pay or care for them anymore, or be responsible if euthanasia is necessary). When I was with the shelter, as soon as I arrived home I would change (put all clothes in a closed laundry room), including shoes, and have a shower. Things like Rhino is airborne and contagious, Panleukopenia is also, and they can be fatal.
Please have your pets sterilized as soon as possible to lower, and one day hopefully eliminate, unwanted and abandoned pets. It IS our responsibility. Adopting from a shelter also helps - encouraging breeders just adds to the overpopulation.
