Congratulation Pittis on being named POTD. You sure are a cutie and have a wonderful human to care for you!

Please tell your person though that although you won't like it, they need to cut back on the amount of pellets you are getting.
Alfalfa-based pellets are ok for growing babies but once you get to 10-12 months old they need to be scaled back to 2 Tbls/day. Pellets are way too high in calcium and as an adult your little body won't be able to absorb all of it, so the excess will go to the bladder and cause painful bladder stones. Check www.rabbit.org for further info. Timothy hay based pellets are better (check www.oxbowhay.com) but still should be limited to 2 Tbls......after all, as the vet says, do bunnies in the wild eat pellets???? No!
In addition, pellets can weigh down your gut which needs to move constantly, and cause gut stasis which can cause a rapid and unexpected death. Better to eat the good stuff, like dark green veggies, than risk getting sick!

What a lucky, lucky bunny you are to be rescused by such a caring friend.
