Hi beautiful Madam Lilly! A very happy Dog of the Day to you, sweet baby girl, and to your beautiful Alsatian brother Toby, too! I must say, yours is one of the most beautiful doggie Christmas cards I've ever seen! You two sure know how to strike pose; simply precious!

What an unspeakably horrific start you had at life, Lilly; you and your puppies! Thank goodness you were found before it was too late, and we give great thanks to Yorkshire Coast Dog Rescue, and all who had a hand in your rescue, for saving you! (So sorry all of your puppies didn't make it, but how neat that those who did are nearby!) I can't hardly look at your "before" pic without getting teary, thinking how suffered, but oh, just look at you now! That photo of you posing in that beautiful bed of flowers just melts my heart, and speaks volumes as to the happy, carefree, loved filled life you have now been blessed with! You sure know how to pick a forever family, Lilly! But it's your family who is most blessed, having a beautiful (inside and out) furkid and loving companion in you!

Congratulations on your big day in the spotlight, sweetheart! What a very, very special doggie you are, truly an inspiration to us all, and one most deserving honoree! Yes, you are one lucky pup, Lilly, but how well you have paid forward the love and kindness shown you through your work in helping to raise funds for such a worthy cause, dog rescue! And no big surprise reading of all of those rosettes you have racked up...who could resist a beautiful charming "madam" such as you?

Thanks for the big smiles, Lilly! It was a pleasure and privilege meeting you today, learning all about you and Toby and your happy life! I hope you both enjoy a very happy, fun filled day of celebration, and many, many more years with your wonderful forever family! Hugs and kisses to you beautiful Lilly, and to Toby, too!
(Now, off to read you blog!!!)
