Well, as we did clean the pantry to the bare bones before adding anything back in, just years old, not decades. It got stuck behind a large mixing bowl, and only got rediscovered last November ... and I remembered discovering them once the year before ...

As long as they are crusty on the outside and chewy on the inside - they are just right. Sounds like our mayor really knows how to "cure" a peep.
O.k. - how "old" are peeps - I mean when did they first start making them?

I am supposed to be doing tax work folks - not looking up "peeps" so don't tell anyone, please!!
