Sweet Sophie is home safe and sound. She is groggy and purry from the anaesthetic, but all went well. She has about 8 stitches that have to come out in 2 weeks time. She also has some pain medication for a couple of days. Probably no "cone of shame" because of the location. (I told my dad she was having an armpitectomy.") I have her in her own room for recovery.
I truly believe in the power of pawsitive prayer/thought. Thanks everyone who kept her in your heart.

and hope her lump removal goes well. Please just keep an eye on it... if the lump starts to turn hard or grow quickly, that is usually a sign that it may be turning to cancer..... I know with my other two angel dogs, that's what I was always looking out for.....lots of surgeries there)
