Shrove Tuesday, or Fat Tuesday, is also known as Fastnacht (donut) Day in the Pennsylvania Dutch areas of this country. My former MIL was a native of PA and always made a lot of PA Dutch food, and on Fastnacht Day, always deep fried donuts in keeping with tradition. Dunkin Donuts - eat your heart out!

Wafflewafflewaffle! With an egg and veggie bacon. And syrup. And a cappucino. And a parrot to share it with (not the cappucino, tho).

good morning everyone and happy Friday. So happy today because there are two doggies upstairs and I can take them for a walk at lunchtime.

Still on this silly diet but hey, in this bar the calories don't count so please give me a big 'ol plate of pancakes loaded to the top with melted butter and maple syrup. Also a side of canadian bacon and some a couple of scrambled eggs should fill me up. **burp**

Richard, you are on my mind daily.... (gosh, people must think we have a love affair...oh that reminds me of your thread on 10 sec affairs... )

'Xcuse me while I get back to w-u-r-k.

I am doing AOK and will drop off PT for a few weeks while I set me sails for new horizons.

I am busy as all get out and thank you all for all your kind thoughts, support and well wishes.

    I can and will survive!

I have to, Ed depends on me.

    With that?

Someone is having a b-day this week!

Damn, my key for this place DOES still work.

Anyone want some Chicken Cacciatore with pasta and some Finger Lakes wine?

(No, I'm NOT puttin' on an apron!)
