You are one incredibly handsome boy; I can hardly believe you are 21 years young! From the tip of your magnificent tail to the top of your precious head, that stunning, feathered headpiece, you're simply gorgeous! (Love your rosy cheeks, too!) No wonder you love looking at yourself in the mirror, Sonny; I would too were I as pretty as you! And better still, you're just as beautiful on the inside!

What cherished memories you and your family have made over the years, no doubt, and what a lucky lady your Mommy is, having known your love and devoted companionship these many years! I'd venture a guess and say you two grew up together! You're not just friends, you're soul mates!

Thanks to everyone again for their kind comments on Sonny. We have had a lot of good times together and I can't imagine life without him. I also appreciate your comments on Piper last week. I wish more people could appreciate birds for the wonderful pets they can be. They are true friends and very loving companions, not just pretty things to sit in a cage. Each one has his or her very unique personality, just like dogs and cats. They just require a little more patience, but are well worth it!
