That's all for now. I took 90 pictures and I really had to narrow them down. I've been having problems with my picture turning out very grainy looking. I try to take pictures in natural light or without the flash but they're the ones that really turn out looking grainy. Any ideas why? I always have the flash set up and I usually have the setting on auto so my camera uses the flash as needed. I hope that these pictures look okay to you.

Does your camera have a setting to change the resolution or picture size? That might help the grainy pictures problem. But then again, I am not a camera expert. So maybe someone else will know for sure.
I'm just glad you got some pictures to post for us. I love the airplane ears one. hee hee

Wow! Both your boys sure are handsome and fluffy! It’s hard to pick a favourite, they’re all such good pics, but I love the second of Alani and the fourh is really cute. The first of Blaze, he looks so goofy and you can see just what a big boy he has grown to be in the third. The one before that is too cute!

My guess is that they’re waiting for treats in the last one.

LOL! Just look at Ziggy's airplane ears! What was that all about? Lovely old Storm is still looking good (I have a soft spot for him). Pearl is beautiful and very special.

Concerning grainy pictures... you need to change the ASA settings in your camera. If the setting is 400 ASA, you need less light, but the pictures will be grainier than if it's set to 100 ASA. Check it!

Oh, you say it's on auto - so the camera may compensate for the less light and therefore they are grainier.

Thanks everyone. Yes, I love all of my furkids and of course I also think that they're all gorgeous too. It's still hard to keep Alani & Blaze still enough to photograph because they're constantly on the go unless they're sleeping or in my lap. Ziggy was making airplane ears at Alani because he was getting too close to her. She's such a drama queen and will still hiss and growl at both boys even though I know that she really likes them. Yes, I do call Pearl "Pearly Girl" and she loves it. Storm likes to spend most of his time in my bedroom so he can have some peace and quiet but he joins the gang every know and then too. His younger siblings definitely do keep him young.

I thought that the lack of lighting was the reason why my pictures were turning out grainy. I may need to read my Canon camera book again some time and play around with different settings if I get the chance. It just seems like my older Canon camera pictures didn't turn out as grainy as with my newer camera. I gave my older camera to my parents. I always keep the setting on the largest size picture,best resolution and on auto. Then I resize the pictures later for posting etc.
