I have a thought. Is the water colder in Oregon than it was in Texas? I mean, you were in TX in summer, warm weather, now in Oregon in winter. Is the house cooler? Is this making the water at room temp cooler? So maybe this is just her reacting to having a cold drink? In which case, it is comical and nothing to worry about!
