The Heidi Highlights

Wow, Heidi! Carrying a toy and having a blitz at the same time! You must be growing up!! Happy Sunday, pretty girl!

Heidi in the sun down here Thursday and Saturday,playing down here with toys on Saturday,sleeping under my chair while I am typing away and in her bed down here on Saturday.She had her snack to start with,had a timeout for biting for half an hour,had a blitz with her squeaky in her mouth jumping over the bed,quite athletic,had snoozes in between that and was out a few times,snoozed under the chair and behind me and with Mom in front of her chair.Heidi went right to bed again last night,I had her go down 6 steps last,just have to get her to go down all the steps.She went right out after getting up,after I had breakfast,I played fetch with her with the squeaky,She had a cuddle with me,didn't kiss so much today,brought up in the living room,whether she found something outside or ate too much,don't know.right now,snoozing in front of me.In the mid 30's right now,but a flash freeze warning has been issued,going to 25 by this afternoon and 9 or 10 tonight with strong north winds,making it chilly,tomorrow 27 and in the 40's Thursday and Friday with rain.We have had Heidi 4 months(February 10th ) and on Wednesday she will be 6 months old,she is really getting be a good dog,just has to get over the biting and will be fine and to get her all the way down the stairs,she weighs about 10 and a half pounds right now.

Heidi flipped over behind me Monday morning,rolled over shortly after I took it,posing in front of the fireplace,with this morning in her chair and chewing on a squeaky toy,the one she has the blitzes with down here.Heidi had two timeouts last night,one for biting at Mom and for biting the carpet near me,have to get her to stop doing that ,don't want her sick.She had her snack,had a blitz then snoozed and went out,ended up in front of mom's chair before bed time .She went in on her own again,went right out this morning,kissed me I had breakfast,had a ride in her bed and has played and napped in the sun,is now in the sun again by the fireplace.

Heidi in the sunshine by the gate and in front of the fireplace Tuesday night and sitting in her bed.Heidi is going to have company later,Taffy is staying here,Larry,Marlene and Larry's sister and husband fly out of Toronto tomorrow at 6:10 in the morning to go to Nassau ,Bahamas for a week.Heidi was biting at mom last night,I told to lay down or she can go for a timeout,she chose to lay down,she knows what we say to her.Last night,had her snack after going out just before 6,cuddled a little with Mom,snoozed and had a blitz,settled down in front of Mom's chair before going to bed,went right to her cage again.She goes right out in the morning,in to eat and out again then goes and gets Mom up.She stays with Mom as I eat,then she comes over and jumps and kisses and licks me.She had a play with toys,then I brought her down in the bed where she played and napped,snored some,mom went with some ladies shopping in Lindsay ,Ontario,they were from church and good friends of Mom.Heidi had dinner around 1,has been out a few times,is right behind sleeping beside her toys.Today she is 6 months old and has been with us 4 months(February 10).She has been pretty good dog,she just has to learn to stop biting and to walk down all the stairs,she has most of her teeth if not all.

Heidi last night at 20 after 8 sitting inside the gate waiting for Taffy to come down,Larry had just brought her,on her tip toes listening to Larry and Mom talking,under the stereo resting and staring at Taffy and barking at her on the couch this morning .Taffy is really having a difficult time climbing up stairs,back end keeps giving out,have to be there to help,the sane with getting up on the couch,she gets halfway and is stuck,Larry said if it got real bad,to call his Brother-In Law Don.Last night,she stayed up in the living room,today has been down here.Heidi has a great time trying to get Taffy to play,has tried kissing her and has done it tonight.Heidi has had one timeout tonight,biting at Mom,both had snacks of food,Taffy had some of Heidi's food,Larry left Taffy's food in the truck.Taffy has just been out,she is upstairs right now,Heidi too,she is inside the gate having a rest,bed time is at 10.Their plane took off at 4 minutes after 6 this morning,was 17 minutes later getting there,so was around 9:30 this morning when they landed,high in Nassau today was 77.They had to wait until afternoon for their rooms to be clean before they could go in.Marlene is going to call her sometime on Sunday,probably in the evening.
