April my daughter has now been accepted into Psychology at the University of New England.
Now she wants me to kick the tenant out of house No.2, so she and her friends can live a university party life rent free.
    BUT....dad has different plans.....they pay rent !!!!!

Hello, PT! I sure missed you yesterday while I was snowed in! But I thought about all of you, and your dogs, cats, bunnies, horses, fish, birds and other creatures... and that helped a LOT!

    Thinking of you,

At home. I think because of the wind (?) I just couldn't get a dependable connection. Had power but couldn't connect.

    Hey Elyse,
Can you send me some of that snow stuff ???
It's just that I'm laying by the pool at the moment, and I'm too lazy to get up for some ice cubes from the fridge to cool my beer down.

Oh that really sucks! I'm glad you have it back now! We didn't have it too bad, just some wind and about two or three inches but I know how bad Chicago got it since most of my friends still live around there.

I am not able to sleep in any more because of Shaza and her cardboard box she has to always be nibbling on!

I started a part time job last night, taking photos of fans at the Dallas Mavericks and Stars games, and it includes the Texas Rangers games as well. I enjoyed it last night, meeting my quota in about three hours. Not bad for a first time, apparently. Got three more games this week! It's nice, because it doesn't require us getting a nanny for Clara.

Finn's Mom, how is the job going?

I was at my mom and dad's house today... saw a woodpecker in their back yard! I tried to take a picture of it, but it was flitting from branch to branch too quickly for me to press the button.

I have listened to a yelping dog today while I was working on clearing the downed limbs from my timber cut. The one that Yelped at me all day to day was my sons dog Desi. Saturday, I listened to another dog, a laberdoodle. It does have a very unpleasant yelp, it is sort of like Desi, a Chihuahua, but on steroids. How can any dog yelp for 6 hours no stop.

I couldn't let this April Fool's Day go by without remembering my dear departed friend, Phil, on what would have been his 76th birthday. I miss you and think of you often. You were taken way too soon.
